Diaphragm separators are designed to protect the internal cavity of the sensitive element of measuring instruments from contact with aggressive, hot, suspended particles carrying the measured media.

Diaphragm separators are used in conjunction with pressure gauges and pressure transmitters in automatic process control and regulation systems in the metallurgical, chemical, construction and other industries.

The principle of operation of a diaphragm separator is that the measured pressure of the medium is transmitted to the sensing element of the measuring device connected to the separator through the membrane and the separating fluid.
